Former Toon Mini Plays for Ireland Schools

Stewart started his rugby career at Ballymoney RFC Mini Rugby before progressing to Dalriada School and then to Ballymena Academy.

Recognition of his skills was rewarded with representative honours for Ulster under 18s against Leinster and Connaught, and Ulster under 19s against Leinster and Munster.

Following his Ulster duties, he represented Ireland Schools against England, Wales and Italy, and is currently training with the Irish Schools for this season.

At the start of this season he has represented Ulster Academy against Leinster, and is the first schoolboy to do so. He also represented Ulster A against Llanelli.

We look forward to Stewart's continued development and wish him all the best from everyone here at Ballymoney RFC, and hope his future career continues to flourish.

Stewart, pictured above with Club Vice-President John Waide, was guest of honour at the pre-match lunch on Saturday 25th November, before our 1st XV played Armagh in the semi final of the Junior Cup.
