After his successful appearances in the Ulster u18 Club Inter-pro series in August, 16 year old Lee Culbertson has been named in the Ulster U-19 squad for their next fixture, this time against Japan U-19s on 22nd March.
Obviously this is another honour for scrum half Lee, being selected once again above his age group. The U-19 squad is where the u-18 club and schools sides come together, so to be part of the combined squad at this stage is an excellent achievement in itself.
With the Ireland U-18 5 Nations squad still to be determined prior to the fixtures in April, there are plenty of targets for Lee to hit. In the meantime, he'll be appearing for Ballymoney's U-18 side on a Saturday morning, and studying for his A levels at Ballycastle High.
In the link below you can find a few photos from the August series, and a quick snap of the moment he was presented with his jersey from Rob Herring.

The club wishes Lee all the best for the U-19 squad, and we'll share match information for anyone that wants to support on the 22nd March as soon as it is announced.
