The 3XV suffered a heavy defeat at home to Ballynahinch on saturday in what was there second league game of the season. The men from the toon never got out of the starting blocks against what was a well drilled and competitive hinch side. Hinch were all over the 3s in the first half scoring 7 trys. They played a high paced off loading game that was too much for the ballymoney men to handle. The second half was a little better for the home team who showed a change in spirit and attitude to work. But alas it was too little too late and they could not break down the himch defence. Final score ballymoney 0, ballynahinch 67. A disappointing result for the team who have a lot of work to do at training this incoming week. Man of the match was Robert Fulton. Next game is Saturday 24th September away to Dungannon.
