Ballymoney 3XV kicked off the second phase of the League, following promotion, against local rivals Limavady. It turned out to be a lowing scoring game with Limavady unfortunately taking the spoils winning 7-0. There was a lack of effort from both sides but it was a game where both team defences came out on top. Ballymoney will be a little disappointed with the result; a combination of too many mistakes and knock ons, meant they made life difficult for themselves.
We now look ahead to next weekend where we meet Coleraine for a second local Derby. Special note must go our Vice-Captain Jonny Waide who was playing his 100 game for the club also putting in a man of the match performance as well. Well done!!
