This Saturday Ballymoney 1XV will host Omagh 2XV - however, the team will not be appearing in the usual match day kit. Instead, the team will be wearing the jerseys of Prostate Cancer Warriors.

The team from Prostate Cancer Warriors will be present at the club raising awareness of the issue, selling merchandise and fundraising.

Ballymoney will not be the only club wearing the kit this year as other clubs across the province and into Scotland will be helping to raise the issue too.

One man dies every 45 minutes from prostate cancer. It already kills more people than breast cancer and by 2030 it’s set to be the most common cancer in the UK. But unlike breast cancer, you can’t check yourself and there’s no national screening program to help detect early-stage prostate cancer. That's why funding research to transform the way prostate cancer is understood, diagnosed and treated is so important.

We hope to see you there on Saturday to support the team and to support the cause. You find out more about the work of Prostate Cancer Warriors on the links below.
